EzeeGrader being cranedStress free fish grading – gentle on the fish and easy for the farmer

Our unique EzeeGrader is a passive fish grader, integral to a conventional sweep net. The device compromises a series of rigid grids made from injected moulded Polyamide, circular in profile, and with apertures of a predetermined width, which smaller fish swim through. The larger fish are harmlessly contained within the sweep net.

The smooth flowing surface of the moulded Polyamide grids, and the circular profile prevents any possible scaling or snagging of the fish passing through. This eliminates physical damage and stress to the fish, ensuring a higher quality end product for the farmer. The lightweight Polyamide material ensures that the product is sturdy and durable, while still being light and easy to use. The rigidity of the grid stops distortion of the apertures preventing larger, stronger fish from pushing through, or the apertures collapsing to trap smaller fish.

EzeeGrader gridEach rigid grid is connected to its neighbours by our unique loose connectors. Located on each side of the grid, they align with the neighbouring grid allowing the EzeeGrader to be made to any size (m2). The greater the surface area of grids within a sweep net, the more efficient and accurate the size grading result. The loose connecters allow each rigid grid to move independently of its neighbour in both horizontal and vertical planes, allowing for easier handling during operation, transportation and storage.

Our production techniques allow us to produce grids with any size of aperture and any number of apertures to suite different uses, or species of fish. With this versatility, we welcome enquiries from all sectors of the fishing and aquaculture industries.

We aim to work closely with customers to identify and provide the best possible product to increase profit and productivity with minimal effort for the farmer.
